No, not off base. I did think of Popeye the cartoon when I named her. She was so skinny & long & olive colored.
I recently lost a cat named Popeye, she only had one good eye.
I don't think I could reuse her name.

He will see me getting ready to walk toward him and he will hunker down and jump out at me when I walk by.
