Re: The most amazing tale I think I've ever heard!!!!!

Mine loves to climb and hes most active at dusk and dawn.

He eats worms no problem but just goes nuts over slugs. He's super interested in anything going on near his tank, he loves to come over and watch me make up gecko food and every time I put my hand in his tank he thinks I've got a snack for him! He tried to eat my husband's thumb the other day but he's too small to even get a hold of a finger!

Forgot to add: These little guys will try to convince you that you are starving them even if they have just eaten like 2 seconds before! Mine spends the entire day curled up in his food dish, raising his head and flicking his tongue expectedly every time someone walks by his tank!

As soon as I read the description of him looking like a worm, I knew. He was a Dekayi! Sweet little snakes! Love slugs and if you are lucky, you can convert to worms. If not, be prepared to keep a slug colony this winter! They are quick, though. But I have never, ever had my Dekayi bite or musk me. They have the cutest little faces and black tongues!!!

Haha, mine gives me the stink cloud every time I put him back in his clean tank. I just tell him "Oh well, I cleaned it, now you have to live with the smell buddy!"
