    It is blue, and it is either an Eastern, T. s. sirtalis or a Maritime, T. s. pallidulus (an Eastern subspecies).

    Time to bring this thread back from the dead!
    Here's a very large male eastern I pulled out of thorn bushes last year. It was the only one out that day. VERY nice coloration.

    Hoping to get some T. s. sirtalis High-Reds next summer!

    Here is an Eastern I met out back a couple summers ago. Never picked it up, just snapped a picture.



    This one just ate a very big toad, again photo only, never touched it.
