    Ernestine's first shed at home

Do you know what an ecdysiast is?

An ecdysiast is one who, or that which, sheds its skin. In vulgar parlance, A stripper...

But I'm not a stripper. After what I've done,

    I'm an ecdysiast!

(dialogue paraphrased from the Musical "Gypsy")

Ernestine shed yesterday, and I felt so lucky to be there to see it! I know she'll do this many times, but I got to watch the process, for her first shed home with me! It was great!

Nice pics, Stephi. I like the leaves, are they in the tank, or was the snake out of it's tank?

Glad there was at least one bright spot in your week. Again, so sorry about your little Curious. Just remember, there are plenty of hides and basking places, and slow fish and thawed pinkies in snake heaven.

(Sniff) Thank you. I can't tell you how much I miss Curious.... but then, I don't have to tell you, you all understand.

Well, and actually, there were two bright spots in my week. The order came into the office and the new girl, always eager to help, opened the box before I realized what she was doing. The shriek that followed was priceless.
