Okay, after having a totally discouraging hunt at the fall den area, only finding one little male who I don't have a pic of, I headed over near the lake where there was a reported ball a few years ago. After checking in with my friend Dorothy at the Interpretive center, I convinced my mom to come a little further down the lake side trail with me. I heard something rustle and turned my head to see this MASSIVE female just sitting there! I'm thinking I may have scared off a male, because she looked cozy and probably hadn't made the movement.
So anyways, the vid will explain the rest. :P

That snake was MASSIVE. She had to be at least 3 1/2 feet long. Also, she didn't bite or anything, I grabbed her by the body instead of the head too...
Just a tad bit of musk, but just the smell of it. :P
