    If you drop some of the salmon strips into the water with the live fish, the snake will bump into them while it's fishing and should seize them. In time you can dispense with the live fish (and the water!).

    Thanx. Hopefully it will work for you too

    If you want a picture, I'll be glad to post it. By the way my terrarium has now changed, my snake can stand by her own until she reaches the top, I think the diet of trout, trout with fish bones & skin, earthworms and a live guppie once in a while has worked like a charm, she's now 15-20 cm longer since my firs post

    I'll try the same with the babies as soon as my 3 fat guppies give birth...only 2 of 6 are eating stripes of trout

    hmm i dont want to risk the bone thing so im gunna buy calcium powder and the slamon skin gives them nutrients?

    Well I was worried about the fish bones too...but my snake had not problem at all, offcourse its more fish than bone, just a little one

    if i fed mine pinkies on the weekend and salmon strips on their feeding day during the week would they get enough nutrients from the pinkies?
