    I can see now. It's such a small and subtle difference that if you don't know what you're looking at then you can't tell but now I have had it explained I think I would be able to tell.

    Sometimes the third number (unknown sex) is left out. Just to confuse you more. Anyway, now you can read a sig where the member lists their snakes. Nearly anyway, next thing to get your head around are the taxonomic names and abbreviations.

    It means that for each of three species we keep, none of them are unknown sex, we're confident that we have positively sexed them. I just leave the 0s because I think it is a more complete record. So, we have 3 female checkereds, a pair of Western Blacknecks, and a pair of Cuitzeos. A fine crop if ever there was one.
