    That's great! Did you lose any? I had pretty low hopes for the 2 smallest as one had only one bite of slug and the other nothing at all.

    Yes, northwesterns are commonly 2-4 inches when they're born, and they grow really slowly. A yearling is usually about 6-9 inches long At least, that's how my snakes have grown.

    NWs only get up to 1.5-2 feet though.
