They'll be out when it's cooler. You can find them along banks. On land. Key is to not scare them, or they'll just jump in the water.

Well, before he was caught, I'm sure he ate plenty of frogs. A few more to get him eating is probably worth it.

Can someone gimme pointers on how to catch them. I hope I dont have to swim. The place I went to had a small pond wid floating lillies. But the lillies were at the middle of the pond. Also, wen is the best time to catch them?
If you're looking for tads, they'll be more likely to be near the edges of the water or hiding under debris. If you go out in the middle of the day, check under floating vegetation and debris in deeper (like, knee deep) water, and if you can go out at dawn/twilight, they'll be more likely to be out in the open.

Like Steve said, they can be risky to use because of parasites, so try to get him on other things as soon as you can.

Re: Please help me with my garter snake!

    Hi guys.

Today I bought feeder guppies from d petstore. They were like $5 for 25, so cheap:-)?

Before i bought the guppies, i kept trying to feed him worms. Im not sure if he ever did it one or yet, but everytime i get my hopes up, i'll find the worm dead somewhere in the habitat. Sad and anoying.

So I guess i just let the guppies swim around too?

    Thanks

yep. They are very active fish so the splashing and movement should attract your little ones attention. Good luck!

That's a good price. Yes just let the swim in a low-to-the-ground shallow dish.

I couldn't take it anymore, I had to pick him up even for just a bit.

I think he's starting to calm down now, becuz it seems he's not too surprize and scared too much wen I put my hand inside his aquariun. Lastnite I held him and I think he poooooped on me. Yuk! It was wet and white but it didn't have an odour. It reminded me of tofu? Thats a good sign, right?

    Or was it peee

With garters you get two-for-one. It's a combo package.
