I've got it bookmarked and will read it later this weekend. Perfect timing on that post. Just what I've been looking for.

read it, it was decent... it pointed out a lot of things that more people need to pick up on, like how virally fast the wrong information can spread and even become socially accepted....but it was also largely a rant about people who use the term "leucistic" incorrectly. The best use for this article is the list of terms at the bottom. The rest of the article you have to kind of dig between a lot of ranting about leucism to piece together the useful information. I bookmarked it... I would say the biggest thing I learned is the proper pronunciation of leucistic and the differences between albinism and leucism on a cellular level. thanks Tom!!!

Yes, taht does tend to happen, mainly because often when someone finds a new morph, or acquires it they just kind of start calling it something and it sticks. I have been wondering about the term "axanthic" as applied to my chicago, only because she still has both yellow and orange pigments along her neck and if she were lacking xanthophores, she should not have that... right???
