Erythristic Albino Eastern born last night

This erythristic albino was born last night from a Carteret Co. double het for erythristic albino bred to the same. Unfortunately there were 5 stillborns and one was an albino, but the good news is this one is very healthy looking, and the best part is that it is a male. I think this snake has a lot of potiential to really color up as it grows, it already has a pinkish orange glow to it that the picture doesn't really do justice. Scott had already produced a litter of these last month, but this is the first year they have been produced. I was first to produce the snow red-sided this year but he was the first to produce the erythristic albino, so he said this makes us "even steven", lol.

    Congratulations!

Why are you particularly pleased that the special little guy is a male? Is Scott's a female?

    Thanks guys
The stillborns were a bit depressing to see, as always, but I always prefer to count my blessings, and to have the only live baby be a male ery albino is a major blessing in itself and I am thankful, and the mom is still healthy and doing well too. We can always try to make more next year to share.
