    Scar treatment.

As most of you know I have a wild caught male radix that has had some serious wounds while in the wild. The Vet. suggests I treat those scar areas with mineral oil once or twice a week as a way to keep them pliable and to aid in shedding. Just thought I would pass the information on.

anyone here ever use Benson's snake oil?
I love that stuff; it smells really good and when I have a "snake beauty parlour" session, my hands feel really nice afterward

Benson's Snake oil? Mine would think that's a conflict of interest. I'd have to cover up the label.

Snake Beauty Parlour. Now, I can retire. I have my business idea!
    Thanks, Rhea

it's not made from snakes, you silly man
it's made from a blend of safflower, sweet almond, wheat germ, avocado, tea tree, and neem oil, and supposedly it's "Slicker than snake potty at the bottom of the ocean"
don't know about that, but it does help the dry skin and minor injuries
I started using it after a mite infestation when some of my snakes had damaged skin around the neck area, and Sammy loves it in her surgery scar
