Snake stationary

Just been foolin around today and thought you might find this fun. Even though I don't send a whole lot of letters these days, I do like to have personalized stationary, so I make it myself. It is pretty easy using Ms Word (Have not been able to do it with Open Office). You use Format to add a watermark. Below are a couple of samples:

For anyone interested, here is how you do it:

Select an image:
I found the fish on the internet: Google, "crappie", images. Pick one you like, right click: save image as, left click, and remember where it goes.

The snake is one of my photos: I edited it to black and white, adjusted the contrast and then to a line (cartoon) drawing.

With your image saved open Ms Word: Format, background, printed watermark, picture watermark, select picture, scale: auto, check washout, apply. preview your stationary.

Print, save and you have personalizes stationary.
