Hi everyone,
Really sorry about resurrecting this thread but I have been looking for this snake for hours. I bought him yesterday in Beijing (I'm from the UK but live here). The vendor said he was a Dinodon rufozonatum (The Chinese Red Banded snake) but I need to confirm so that I can look after him (and to make sure he doesn't bite and kill me .

The photo you posted looks exactly like mine although it could be S. annularis. I looked on snakesoftaiwan but I can't decide. Let me know what you think.
