Thumbs up Help!!! I have (she has) two eggs!!!

OMG! I woke up this morning and went to check on my babies (there are only two out there now...I think a male was chased off???) and I found THESE!!! They have to be eggs....mama (the BIGGGG girl!) showed me her lovely fangs for the first time when I uncovered her "egg". The second one was discovered about 5 hours later. They were just laying on top of the straw so I gently buried them underneath and she's laying on them now.
One seems to have a division line through the center of the egg; twins?? They are approx. 1 1/2 inches length.
I am just ECSTATIC but am unprepaired for all of this excitement and new motherhood.. What is the incubation period for Indo Keelbacks eggs????

Yes, Le Ann...last time I checked (about 3:00 PST) there were two eggs. She seems to be very contented so I will just let her be. Do you know anything about these snakes and the incubation period? Will she go off feed or will she still eat?

I'm sorry to say I have no knowledge of these snakes. I'm sure there are plenty of people here who do. Give it a little time and I am sure they will answer all of your questions to the best of their abilities. Good luck with the hatchlings!

Oh my, good luck with those, I wish I could help...accurately.... but I would offer her food at least, she can decide if she wants it or not.

If you really dont know what do to with the eggs or cant find any info, I would try a different method of whatever you think would be best with each egg, see which ones work, then educate us!

Looks like the visible egg might be infertile... Hopefully not. I know how bad that sucks!

the only thing I know to contribute, is not to turn the eggs - to keep the top-side on top

As rhea said ... if you move the eggs don't turn them from their original position. There is an air bubble in each egg which can cause injury/death to the embryo if it moves inside the egg.

Not a clue, but I'd expect it to be about 30-60 days.
