    For a Minute I Thought.......

That this was Ladybug (remember James?), but it was not. It is still a nice little snake Lampropeltis t. triangulum. It was under the solar heater when I took a look for garters. Has a baby toad (hope not garter) size lump in its belly.

well glad to see that one safe and in good hands!!!..I was at a kids birthday party a few days ago, and I hear the scream, now I know right away its a snake.....well I wasn't fast enough, because one of the older kids stomped on the snake.....to my surprise and sadness it was a baby,
    and I mean maybe 7inches long milk snake.....out basking I'm guessing,but
anway they killed it needless to say I was very upset and angry........I
took it from them and I'm going to presurve sorry if speld wrong!!!..it in a jar so that I can hopfuly teach them that its not ok to kill them to just leave'em alone........any way great find and I love there color and pattern..

This is a new one MS#5. Have seen one (MS#4) that was about 20+ inches, did fine one huge MS shed so there are some big ones around. If I find any really big ones I would probably relocate them for the sake of the local garters.
