Community upgrades coming

I just wanted to let everyone know,that the site will be down for a few days while l upgrade the software. Hopefully it will go smoothly & the down time will be short, that is no always the case.

I agree with snakehill. What will we do with out everyone here for a couple days. I go on here everyday even if it is just to read whats going on. What will we do :
Wow This is gonna suck for that couple days but thats ok we will have a new thing happening when we come back on and lots of things to talk about.

It will give more time to spend with the snakes. More photos and stories to share once the forum is back up.

It will be soon, very soon. The biggest problem I have had in trying to upgrade the site is to set a side enough time to do it properly and not rush it.

As to the any new features, I have a feeling that I will keep them off while we work out the normal bugs that show up. I know the software added blogging and an article section, but we have our own article section. Of course it is not really contributed too like I thought it would be so we might end up going with a static article section .

Things on the list to work on are

Forum software, gallery software, remove the old classifieds section, upgrade the wiki or replace, not to mention the changes to the theme, and some back end software.

ps, if you are subscribed to this thread, I will update it before I shutdown the site, and once it is back up. So you will be notified when it happens.
