    breeding checkers :D

well today after work i went out for a short herping trip and came across 5 easterns 4 of them i know for suree they were male i kept one full grown male and one what looked like about a yearling the smaller one has colors that macyh up with checkers a little more but i was sure if he was ready for breeding so i brought the bigger one home anyway i put the smaller one in a tank with checkers and sure enough he jumped on her
i lft for a little while and when i came back there was a wet spot on the substrate where her cloaca was and her tail was slightly cocked in the air so i think they locked up but the boy is still showing interest so i will keep hiom in there for a couple more days the larger male i will release tomorow
