    Thamnophis couchii

    Does someone keep Thamnophis Couchii?
    I saw some last year in Yosemite National Park swimming and sunbathing near a river and the water was icecold !
    Lovely snakes but i have heve never seen them in captivity.
    Garter snakes , Ball pythons , Burmese pythons , corn snakes , Green iguana's , tortoises , ferrets , dogs , cats , mini pigs ,...

    It's not a species I've heard anyone mention keeping. Quite possibly not available in Europe.

    I know Steven Bol (Welcome at Steven Bol Gartersnakes - Steven Bol Garter Snakes)in the Netherlands has had them some years ago. He said they were difficult snakes to keep.
