    Panfish - Trout Worms

Anyone know what the heck those are, and if they're safe to feed (doubt it)

DMF bait at walmart has those along with nightcrawlers and stuff.

They are small worms, with a yellow tip...

they do this cool "corkscrew threat display" or something. It's crazy.

    Box says

    Panfish-
    Trout Worms

I never plan on using them... just curious.

Sounds like the worm you described is not the same worm as "panfish trout worms".

as was stated, those are simply red wigglers - a compost worm.

Anyway, best to stick with nightcrawlers, regardless.

Panfish/Trout worms is just marketing... technically, roundworms, flatworms, flukes, etc.. are also "panfish worms" just a parasitic variety.
