    Did anybody notice the last paragraph about them trying to breed the two headed snake? Albinos are one thing, but such a terrible condition as that should never be something to breed for.

    I agree. Deformity or any other birth defect isn't something to be deliberately encouraged.

    Absolutely. It's great the snake lived for that long, as long as it didn't suffer, which it might well have done, but deliberately putting animals through such a problematic life isn't fair.

    its quite a problem in the uk. there are a lot of breeders that deliberately breed 2 headed snakes because of the price they can get for them. ive seen suppliers lists where 2 headed snakes cost upwards of £2000 and people must buy them otherwise they wouldnt bother trying to sell them.

    i have strong thoughts on selective breeding anyway and this just takes the biscuit.

    i hope the snake had a happy life.
