Hi everyone. The names Mark and I have kept multiple species of snakes as long as I can remember. I recently acquired a 2 year old pair of California red sided garters. I'm hoping to get a better grasp on breeding and to learn anything I can.

I feel so late to the party. Lol. (Didn't get a notification that there were replies here). Well as I previously mentioned the 2 year old pair I acquired are actually two females so I went ahead and picked up a male and plan on pairing sometime next week after his QT is over. When I picked up the girls, I was given a male albino checkered for free but the longer I have him, he seems too big to be a "he". What's the average size for a male checkered?
