how late in the year

Do wild garters give birth? My wc female went through a shed, and is gaining weight even though she hasn't eaten for me yet. It seems late in the year for a wc garter to still be gravid but I'm new to all this....I'd take pictures but my camera isnt working

generally around july to august....also depends on when they bred....I have a couple valley garters from Idaho that are still waiting to pop. late cold springs will make them breed later.

I saw a gravid female on saturday.The norm is late june in the tri-state area.
