What is this on these pinkies?

They are from RodentPro and I keep them in the same bag they where shipped in... freezer burn? Or I hav no clue what this is? is it safe?

Looks like freezer burn on the skin. The garters won't mind.

Looks like freezer burn to me too. My garters haven't complained when I've fed them pinkies that were much more freezer burnt.

I have that on some of my frozen mice. I also attributed it to freezer burn. Snakes don't care about it though.
