    New family members :)

    Thought I'd post just a few quick pictures of my baby pair of Checkered Garters I got from Nick aka HaZanga, they are amazing, I'm really happy to have had the opportunity to get a pair of garter snakes in Canada other than a yellow striped lol even though I love them as well. It's nice to get some variety. Also a picture included of my rather large Eastern Garter...largest one to date I've found.

    thanks she's the brightest yellow I've seen and by far the heaviest too.

    indeed he does, I was so excited to meet up with him near the Toronto Expo as this is my first experience with a different species of garters
