    Gravid T.s.pickeringii(blue form)

The blue form of T.s.pickeringii was first introduced in the U.S. garter hobby around 2005. In the last year or two ive noticed them sort of fade away so when i had the opportunity to accuire a W.C. pair i was all over it...cheers Joe p

I have a feeling you're going to see them make a comeback this year and this probably won't be the only litter you see this season.

well Richard in order for this species to be firmly established in the hobby people are gonna have to be dedicated to captive breeding them...thats the only way

Yeah, I know. It seems some are having trouble producing litters or at least having trouble producing more than just a few offspring. Might help if a few more adults, in pairs, made it into the hands of breeders dedicated to improving the situation. A lot of the snakes that do become available are being sold singly or to people who are dedicated to breeding them. Wishing you luck with this litter.

Wow, thanks for the pics! Beautiful girl you have there! Good luck! I have a trio (currently keeping the female puget with 2 female red spots). I was under the impression Pugets were in less demand these days but I guess it's for other reasons? Anyway, looking forward to baby pics!

Thanks! Fortunately "Nice looking snakes" is something we all have in common here! ;-) Steve, been spying on this forum (very soothing before heading off to bed, hehe) and noticed you've acquired some new garters to your collection; which includes a duo of beautiful flames! ;-)
