    Black and red radix?

For the members that understand the working of genetics. Is there anything that would make it possible with what is out there with the radix that a black and red snake could be developed? I just think it might look cool.

Generally, the traits that turn a radix black totally wipe out the animal's other colors (reds, yellows, greens). The closest you are going to get is a nice erythristic radix in my opinion.... but hey, that is what Oregon Red-Spotted Garters are for.

I like that attitude. Why try to create a different colour radix when there are so many other species.

I wanted to do the same thing with ordinoides ("make" a black snake with red stripes) until science shut me down. And it was at that point that I realized I could achieve the same fascination by acquiring another subspecies.
