    Awesome find!

We were out driving today and drove by a man's house that has a woodworking shop. He makes wooden bowls from hardwood. We stopped and chatted with him for a while and he showed us his work. It was truly beautiful! I noticed a garbage can with small/medium, chunks of wood in it. He said that was wood he gave away as fire wood. I saw a beautiful piece of maple that we could use as decoration in the snakes enclosure. He said take it! Whatever you want out of there you can have!
So here is our find! Maple and Walnut wood hides. Dried for 6-10yrs.

These are the ones we are using in the enclosure right now.

And this is a rough cut bowl he was working on that he gave me. It's a perfect hide!

Wow, those look really good. I bet the snakes enjoy the texture of the bark as well.
