My tiny male Eastern Blackneck finally took a guppy today!

He is so tiny compared to his piggy Sister

She even took a Molly last week..

Hopefully he will automatically eat the feeder fish now like she did after her first one.

I decided to breed mollies for them once the guppies are all fed off since the mollies fry start off larger and mollies have less of a tendency to eat their young.

I just move the pregnant mollies who are about to burst, into the 10 gal fry tank with enough live plants for the fry to hide in, and then put them back after they have dropped their load.

I should only have to buy guppies for another month or two before the system starts to produce for them.

Eventually I will convert them over to mice, but I am in no hurry for now.

Cool. That's good news. Sounds like you have a plan that should work just fine.

    Best of luck.
I'm sure your snakes are happy or will be happy with your decision.
