    Miracle find

Many of you have seen my posts about and that reference a radix named Scar.http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/gene...ough-life.html. I didn't make a post about it but Scar escaped from an upstairs enclosure 3 maybe 4 months ago. This was very hard on me since I had worked so hard to gain his trust. We were friends and I think he looked forward to me spending time with me. Since his escape I have worried, thought and prayed about him daily.
Tonight, I was sitting outside with a baby Robin in my hand. I told my daughter Gabby to catch a few crickets for the bird. Gabby stated she couldn't find any.(she had already been looking) I told her to look under the boards I had layed down for visiting radixes. I heard her turn a board over and then she yelled "It's Scar, I think I found Scar". She brought him over to me and sure enough it's my boy Scar. He's much thinner but all the scars matchup. Somehow he made it outside and has been doing fine. That's my boy!
I couldn't be happier but to be honest I never thought I would see him again. Answered prayers. I am a blessed man.

I gave Scar a check-up and found him to be much more lean then when he lived with us. The scale infection I was treating has healed and scared over(like he needs anymore scars). He smelled me for awhile then calmed down quickly. He seemed to be fine with me holding him and didn't try to get away. I hope it's because he remembers his time at the ranch. He drank plenty of water during his bath and did spend sometime soaking. It's good to have him back and I look forward to the coming months.
