HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! injured garter snake!!

I found an injured garter snake on my way home. I think he was hit by a car. He has a small kink in his tail that is bleeding. He also has something hangout out of his butt? Its no bleeding. He is currently in a 10gal tank with water and a heat lamp. What should I feed him?

Before you feed you need to address the possible injury. Probably a prolapse of some kind. If it is intestines it is probably terminal unless a Vet was to intervene with surgery. Best to keep the prolapse moist to keep any living tissue alive. Photos would be great.
