I just joined today, and I was wondering if any members here could give me some information on where to find some male northwestern garter snakes? I will have two female 2021 babies and I need an unrelated male!

That's a tough one as they are illegal to be collected in the wild and can't be moved across State lines for fear of Federal charges.

Wait really? I didn't know that! I was about to buy two females from someone later this year. If I have them shipped is it still risking charges?

That depends on whether it violates any State (Your State, their State) or Fed (Lacey Act) law. I would not post anything about it going forward.
