    Slugs and Earthworms

Our snow cover left yesterday and we got about 2 inches of slush today. It still didn't stop my daughter from finding a few adult slugs and some earthworms. They couldn't have come at a better time since my dekayis needed the slugs. I also have a few radix slow eaters. They chowed down the earthworms. My little Nebraska albino radix has been a very finicky little eater. He was one to eat some earthworms. Before Winter hits next year I will be raising my own earthworms and slugs.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

I need to go have a dig to see if I can scrounge anything up. I'm nearly out of the worms I got from BassPro, and I'm sure Noodle would appreciate something different.

I was rather shock to find anything out. I've never found food this early.
This weekend it's to get into the 50's so I will be doing some more collecting. The earthworms are really working on some of my slow eaters.
