    rescue from the 17th floor

this little one was found on the 17th floor of an apartment building - severely dehydrated, better now
if it's an eastern it will be released, but there is some question around the pattern at the neck, raising the possibility that this may be some kind of escaped captive hybrid

    what do you guys think?

    Nice save.
If the I.D. is in doubt I think it should be kept rather than released.
    Just my opinion.

I can't find them in my yard and you are finding them on the 17th floor of an apartment building? Not fair

Re: rescue from the 17th floor

Pretty much everyone beat me to the punch. It does look like a normal eastern. I'm still thinking it is an escaped captive or someone otherwise brought it in the building and released it, intentionally or not. Highly doubtful it got there on it's own.

I wouldn't be to eager to release it. Little guy will stand a better chance out there if he can get some food/water in him and regain some strength first.

not my call at all at this point, but I am sure the little one will be properly hydrated and nourished before being released
and I am fairly certain that wherever they release will offer a better menu than the 17th floor of an apartment building
