okay... so i have lots and lots of baby toads down by the creek... so i'm planning on getting a bunch of them to feed them to sooty and the other gravid females babies... but how do i keep them alive???

Cool, moist habitat, plenty of hides and bucket loads of food. Toads are greedy!

lol but WHAT do i feed them??? they are sooooo tiny....

Shanley, toads follow this logic when it comes to food:
"If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, eat it anyway, in case it moves."
As long as you're not trying to feed a locust to a one-inch toad, you shouldn't have a problem. They can even eat bees and such. Or tiny worms. They love worms!

but the biggest is about 1 cm.... how do i find/catch food that small????

If you can't feed them Shanley, please don't collect them. They need to eat a lot... every day.

i know... if i cant find food today i will take them back... will they eat fruit flies????

Ahem... Ant hill. Put a border of books or unpassable obstacles around an ant hill and put the toads in this little "pen." Guaranteed, they'll eat their fill. But you have to watch them so the ants don't start biting them.
