    guppy and thiaminase

This question can appear obvious but I had two different opinions.
I would like to know if the guppys are rich or low in thiaminase?
    Thank you.

Welcome!! I've heard that guppies are safe. Quite a few people here use them.

    Guppies are safe. No thiaminase.

Dace minnows are. Most minnows sold at bait shops are not Dace, they are Flathead/fathead minnows.
The other problem with minnows is the parasite load most of them have.
With all the other safe fish(salmon, tilapia, trout) it's best to stay away from minnows in my opinion.
