    Hi there

    Hi everyone, while I do not have any garter snakes at this moment, I have had some in the past. They were from my yard, I brought them in so that my kids could learn more about them. Yes, most of the other mothers I know think I'm strange . I hope to learn even more about these fascinating snakes on this forum.

    I currently have crested geckos and Vietnamese mossy frogs.

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

    I do try to teach the kids to respect the living things around us. This includes escorting a few garter snakes and milk snakes out of our basement each spring and fall (we have an old farmhouse with a stone foundation).
