When using multiple quotes you start with the quote button that has the + below it. Use that button for all the quotes but the last one.
For the last quote use the "Reply with Quote" button. It will gather up all the quotes you selected and put them in a reply field.
From there you can add lines between them or highlight something in an individual quote. Just don't change the beginning or end brackets. ([QUOTE= or [/QUOTE]
