    Exclamation Very small Garter?

I got my two marcianus from my bro today, they where a gift but he had to keep them for me for 2 weeks while i went on hol.

I noticed one of them is much smaller then the other so i figured my bro wasnt watching them eat, and the other of the two (much larger but from the same batch) was eating both pinkies i put in (stupid me for not splitting them up for the first feed) so he must have been stealing all the food leaving the other to starve abit.

If i do split them both up should i feed the smaller one a bit more then usual. I am feeding them pinkies at the moment 1 per week (is this correct??). Should i feed the smaller one 2 etc a week or more to speed up the growth and get her back on track? I dont want to lose her!!

    thanks for any help

If they're still quite small, I would feed them pretty much all they'll take. The smaller one will soon catch up. Although, if they're eating whole pinkies I guess they're not really tiny?

the bigger one is about 16 inches long the smaller is only bout 13 inches...its more there weight though. you can clearly see thatthe smaller one is much thinner then the larger.

To be honest i have not actually seen the smaller eat a pinkie. They were fed cat food! at my bros house so im not to sure if a pinkie will be to large for the smaller. I am seperating them up and will leave a pinkie with her to see if she eats it

I'd give the thinner one as much as it will take for now. If it's reluctant to take pinkies you could try some fish strips or worms to get it restarted.

Good luck on your smaller speciman. Seperating them should hopefully solve the problem.
