Hi,

I have this ribbonsnake since one year and her sold me as Thamnophis proximus. This is a female to 3 years (wild origin) and 65 cm height.

What do you think ?
This is proximus or sauritus ?
How to differentiate the two species ?

Hello!
I just got back to the thamnophis-hobby today, after many years away
I got a T. Proximus Proximus, and yours look like a T. Proximus Orarius https://www.inaturalist.org/guide_taxa/776621

To differentiate between Sauritus and Proximus, look for a dot on the head of Proximus!
