    Ekohs first shed coming soon

    i just looked in on Ekoh and his eyes are sooo blue they just changed today so i'm going to put a wet hide in his tank and hopefully he will use it and this will be a trouble free shed

    You can wait on the wet hide until the eyes clear up, if you want to.

    i already got it in the tank he has 2 hides so i replaced the one he was not in.

    a cleaned out big *** tylenol bottle. i have washed it 4 times and scrubbed it with a brillo pad letting it dry completely between washes and it has some wet paper towels in it

    That'll work, just keep an eye.. or nose on it that it stays clean and doesn't mold. Wet paper towels (if really wet) can do that fast, or if some dirty little brat soils the hide with poop... lol

    yea i will change them out every day just to be safe and make sure nothing happens to his skin and scales

    well he wants nothing to do with the wet hide im going to try and get some moss maybe he will like it better. i have a more pressing question, what should i do about the end of his tail (whats left of it anyways) where it is scabbed, is this going to cause a problem or should it come off with the shed? i will have some better pictures of the wound tomorrow as soon as me or my girlfriend digs out a decent camera.

    Enok may not need a shed box. He may just take a quick soak in the water bowl and get the job done.
