    Quick breeding question.

If I were to breed two snakes should they be housed separately before I put them together after brumation? Would them being together before that cause them to become used to each other and not want to mate?

I asked a similar question a week or so ago. I think the consensus was that it wouldn't have any affect on breeding.
It's just my opinion but I think keeping them separate until breeding after brumation.

I read sometime ago that it is advisable to introduce the male to the female's enclosure.

Makes sense. With several different species of snake I've watched in the wild, I'll continually see the same female in one spot for weeks or months, with several different males showing up for a few days.

And from what I've seen in the wild, concinnus girls like to make 2 or more males chase her to the point of exhaustion before resting and letting any have her. On top of that, they often still act like they're in a hurry to get somewhere even during the lockup so he gets ran to exhaustion and his reward is to get dragged around by his...
