    Enclosure cleaning

So I'm curious. When I clean out Sku's viv I've just been emptying it out really good, and running the vines, rocks, hides and whatnot under hot water, and wiping out the actual aquarium as best I can with a damp hot cloth. Is there any cleaners that can be used to disinfect the glass? Or should I just stick with what I've been doing?

    Good old fashion bleach.

Then rinse it out with water till your hands look like prunes.

Good to know. I can only assume that you mean highly diluted bleach water.

I use Clorox Clean-up. Then a good rinse and air dry time. I then wipe it all down with a hot water towel.
I use this time to do a visual inspection of all my Radix.

I use sterilizing fluid..... of the type you might use for babies' bottles.

I use straight out of the bottle bleach.

Kills all germs, mites, eggs EVERYTHING.

Then I rinse the tank in warm water over and over till the tank does not smell like chlorine anymore.
