    Spring Cleaning Surprize

Today(Sat.) it was beautiful outside. The kids and I were doing some spring cleaning around the outside of the house. Raking and bagging leaves. The basement window wells, which are full of leaves usually produce a few sleeping radixes and this year was no exception. The bigger one, a male is being held by my daughter Gabby. The smaller one(female) is being held by my oldest daughter Emmyjo. We'll keep them for awhile since near freezing temps(at night) are still in the area for another week. Then it's back outside for these little guys. The male has a couple of small abrasions that need a some attention, so their arrival was well timed or should I say planned

I've notice a lot of brown showing up in the area radixes over the last year or so.
It's almost a dark carmal color. I'll get a couple of close-ups and post them. Here's on e from yesterday. Doesn't do the brown color justice. This is the male.
