That is terrible! I just bundle up in tons of blankets We have electric baseboard heaters and they right under the single pane windows. Kind of pointless to have heaters when the heat goes right out the window literally.

It gets a lot colder where you guys are...your winters get a lot harsher than ours do. I am lucky that it does not get too bad here on the east coast and that my house always stays pretty warm. Plus, my bedroom sits over the boiler...so my bedroom is the warmest room in the house.

It's not too bad here. Our winters are usually mostly rain. As long as I have lived here (almost 30yrs) there have only been 4 bad winters where I live. And WA bad is like a normal winter for say NY.

Where are you in WA? Are you near Seattle? I mean does it rain there all the time? I could never live there because I have depression problems and I think I would get really bad with the weather...I hate rain and cloudy skies and stuff. I am going to be too tired to deal with the new snake! And my ex-husband thinks he is coming over to take me to do car insurance stuff for him tomorrow...he is wrong...lol.

Yeah I live about 2hrs north of Seattle. I doesn't rain as much as everyone thinks it does, but it rains more in the winter than it snows. Snow here is more mixed with rain. When it does stick it usually doesn't last more than a couple of days. I love it here though. It's so pretty!

Looks like a broken muffler bearing to me.

    Maybe a faulty framus spring

Bored and want to know what Google developers do when they are bored? Go to Google in a half decent browser (pretty much anything other than MSIE should work) and search to "tilt".
