Candy is doing well!!! Little bugger is just so beautiful. This whole thing is very overwhelming though... I have been getting people ALL over the place that are contacting me about this snake. They want it... or they want to know about it... I spent ALL day yesterday being the spokesperson for a milksnake!!! I was offered 1.1 first generation babies from that piebald garter. I have turned that offer down... nor really looking to work with piebalds until visuals are produced!

Very cool! I would love to get a pair of those. What kind of eggs to you have it eating now? I have heard that the young ones need some very small eggs.

It's currently eating finch eggs. They can eat surprisingly large eggs for their size & tend to binge and then not eat for a few weeks. It's how they work in nature as well, find a nest and raid it eating everything they can, then digest and eventually try to find another.

If you're considering trading, please be sure to wait until the pied has proven babies.

I am not trading for offspring of that pied. I am not really even interested in the pied garter.... let alone trading this prized gem away for two normal eastern babies.

BTW... she ate a pinky while I was at work today!
