Possum, does an uncanny cobra impression...he likes to lift his head up and then tuck it back and coil and strike at the glass...he's so little and sweet in nature, that it's really hysterical!

Sounds like pussy cat that thinks he's a tiger.
It must be interesting to see, why don't you just setup a webcam pointing at Possum?

Hmm...I guess I could do that on my laptop. I'm going to try to get some more videos of him soon too...he will usually do the cobra thing if I put my finger up the glass when he comes near it.

i used to do that alot put mine on webcam, people on my messenger think im nuts but thats okay. i must have over a thousand pic of my two doing silly things, and eating and lazing around.

mine do the cobra thing when you wiggle your finger by the glass too all set to strike. Garters are just absolutely awesome snakes. They seem so smart, and curious, and i think they like me.. They greet me at the glass when i get home from being out, but then again shortly after they start begging for food lol so maybe its the services i provide lol

Garters really are awesome. Thanks..I named him Possum because he has a neurological disorder and he likes to turn upside down a lot. He slithers upside down sometimes, and sleeps upside down sometimes too. Then, of course, the pink eyes...But he is so cute and interesting. You can see a little video of him under my Marnie's Snakes thread. If you watch really close, you can see him do his cobra pose for one brief moment in the middle of the video!
