If she waits much longer to have those babies they'll be adults when they come out.

    Re: Time to seperate?

Lol .... I wish I could post a baby message ... she's driving me crazy ... she hasn't eaten other than a small meal (1 pinkie and two bits of Salmon) for just over a month now and she shed 2weeks prior to that. Her weight is still steady at 260g.She is definately heavy towards the back end and feels solid.
I've been surprised by her fast - most cases I read about they deliver 2-3weeks after going off food ... I can imagine that these will be big babies ... I did read in my Jon Coote garter manual that they can go off food in their second month, in which case I just may have been a little premature in posting .... but I'm allowed to it is my first time after all

    Re: Time to seperate?

Had some strange behaviour yesterday, she ate 1fluff and 5 slithers of salmon. She started to twitch, headed to the waterbowl and submerged herself for 5 minutes (constantly moving in circles). On leaving the waterbowl she lifted her tail and gaped her cloaca and pushed four or five times with no result (she did this twice in the space of 3 minutes). There was intermittent twitching for about 7 minutes after that.
She then returned to normal and has been in hiding ever since.
    .... I think we're getting closer to a result

omg greg you must have been like OMG HERE COMES A BABY!!!!! And then nothing comes out.... i know how that feels. One time though, I was watching one of my adult female and all the sudden she lefted her tail to poo.... next thing you know... there was a baby snake!!! It was so cool to see her just nonchalantly pop out a baby!!!
