Good point to bring up, Stefan. For me worms don't last very long so it's never been an issue.
Vents are a good thing!

Anyone know who carries large bags of cypress mulch?

We went looking yesterday, and Home Depot, does not. Wal Mart Does not....

Anyone check Lowe's or true value yet?

The guy at home depot was cool, as soon as he tried to sell me cedar mulch, I said it was bad for snakes, he had to ask me what we had.

Samantha was with me, she just started spewing off all the different animals we keep.

Then I looked at bags of sphagnum moss, everything they carried has fertilizer mixed in, so I passed on it.

For those of us who buy worms from Walmart or a bait shop, remember. After they are gone don't throw the dirt away. If you have pants in the house dump it there. It is great organice fertilizer, rich in worm castings(poop). It really perked-up a few of my plants. Great way to recycle.

yeah - it's great stuff for the plants
and for those of you who have fresh-water aquariums - those water changes ought to benefit your plants also
