It seems one of the problems with uploading is that the photo isn't format to the proper size.
When you try to upload do you get any message as to why the upload failed?
Would you describe the problem you're having. Thanks

You need a program that will make your photos email ready. I use Microsoft Digital Editing Software. I can save a photo as "email ready".
I know Adobe Photo Shop does the same job, many other programs will also.
I'm sure there are Shareware(free) programs out there to.

You can't upload pics taken with a 14.2 megapixel camera because at actual size, the frame is WAY too big and the file size is big too. You need to resize it to something reasonable such as 1024 X 768. I'm still using XP and so I use "image resizer" which is part of Powertoys for XP. Then, you will be able to upload it. You could also use imageshack and choose a resize option. You could then have picture appear in the post instead of a thumbnail you click. I don't even bother uploading to the forum in a post. I hotlink to the picture at imageshack.

    What camera(s) do you use?

I'm in need of a new camera. I've been looking around alot, and there's a lot of good cameras within the $300 range.

Thing is, not many focus in macro... I couldn't care less about subject tracking and face recognition.

The only things I take pictures of is nature, so anything outside, but mostly animals, especially reptiles, an ESPECIALLY my snakes. I've filled an entire SD card with nothing but my snakes. So macro is important.

I'd like to stick with the little compact digitals, but something bigger is fine. Problem is those are often
    more expensive.

Ive been leaning toward the Nikon coolpix series.

But I'd like to hear what you garter-gurus use!

I use a Kodak Easy Share Camera and it works great after you figure out what things to put it on for pics . I love it. It only cost me I think 30-40 and that was at Walmart. Plus it is able to do video as well.
I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.

Re: What camera(s) do you use?

You know, I used to use an Easy Share, too. I've since passed it on to my mom, but it was a great little camera. I have an older Sony Cybershot DSC H-5, now. It's great, but has more of a delay than I would like and I wish it had a true burst feature. It has a burst setting, but puts the consecutive, rapid fire, shots on one pic in little frames... if that makes any sense at all? That and it takes AA's, which I prefer, but you don't

    Thanks!

Easy SHare isn't what i'm looking for... i need something a little more capable.

I can live with AA as a long as the cameras worth it...
